Applications are invited from male Indian citizens for recruitment to the post of Constable (Driver) as per the detail provided:
Application Fee: Rs. 50/- through IPO or Bank Draft in favor of Accounts Officer, FTR Hqrs. SSB, Guwahati, Assam payable at SBI, Guwahati, Assam. SC/ST/EXSM: exempted
Selection Process: Physical Standard Test, Documentation, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Test, Driving/Technical Test and Medical Examination.
How to Apply: Application on a prescribed format complete in all respects as per instructions and two self-addressed envelopes of 4 x 9 size bearing Rs.25/- postage stamps superscribing : APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (DRIVER) IN SSB should reach “The Inspector General, FTR, HQ (SSB), Guwahati, Nikita, Complex, 345, G.S.Road, Research Gare, Guwahati-22, Assam” on or before 01-08-2012.

- Age Limit: 18 years to 28 years as on 01-08-2012, relaxable as per govt. rules.
- Educational Qualifications: Matriculation with a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
- Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 in the grade pay of Rs.2000/-
